General Surgery &
Rao Daluvoy, MD, is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon who has been practicing in Southern California for more than 35 years. His practice includes performing minimally invasive and traditional general surgery to treat a wide range of conditions—such as hernias, gallstones and cancer—as well as vascular surgery to treat diseases of the veins and arteries, such as aneurysms and blocked blood vessels.
Dr. Daluvoy’s philosophy is to educate patients regarding their healthcare choices and to involve them in making decisions. When surgery is necessary, he has access to the resources of Barstow Community Hospital—including technology, a team dedicated to quality, safe care, and fellow members of the medical staff.
A graduate of Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Daluvoy received post-surgical training in England, Ireland and the U.S. He completed both a residency in general surgery, as well as a fellowship in vascular surgery, at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Daluvoy founded Barstow Health Partners in 2014, where he currently serves as medical director.
